The location of the Oaks is unbeatable, right near the Brisbane River with stunning views. Loved the proximity to the Botanical Gardens. it made for lovely evening walks. The room on the 26th floor offered breathtaking views, especially during the Riverfire event. Watching the fireworks from our room was unforgettable. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. However, the elevators seemed outdated and flickered with dim lights, which felt a bit unsettling. Wi-Fi was down during my stay, likely due to city flooding, and it would’ve been nice to have been informed beforehand. Although the staff were friendly and helpful, the initial check-in process felt a bit confusing. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but the property's maintenance could be improved.

Brisbane's culinary scene is a gem! Don’t miss out on a stroll to Atomic Coffee for some top-notch brews, and Roti Place for the best rotis in town. Our apartment had a fab river view that wowed us. The location was a hop away from the CBD—perfect for food explorations!

However, the second bedroom could've used an upgrade—only a ceiling fan, and we felt a bit cramped with the layout. Plus, they really should step up their room maintenance. those minor issues were a tad off-putting.
